This virtual event allows competitors to upload their submissions online, you are not required to synchronously participate at a specific date or time.
All participants will be contacted with event results on June 1.
Awards will be shipped within one week of event conclusion.

In-Person Event
Join us for our inaugural Ethics in Leadership Conference, where we will explore the complex and critical issues facing modern leaders across a variety of career fields. This event will provide a unique opportunity for students to engage in lively discussions and debates about ethical dilemmas and learn about the importance of ethical decision-making in the corporate world.
Students will examine different scenarios and apply ethical frameworks to explore and discuss their responses and opinions through a series of interactive and collaborative activities.
This event is designed to foster critical thinking skills and prepare future leaders to navigate complex ethical issues with integrity and confidence. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge and engage with peers who share your interest in ethical business practices.

The Student Advisory Council is a group of dedicated members who provide guidance and support to Tidewater LEAD's leadership team. Council members work to ensure that the voices of student members are heard and that their needs are being met. They also assist with planning and implementing events and provide input on new initiatives and programs.
Interested members may apply each fall for a seat on the council and serve a one-year term. SAC members in good standing are eligible to re-apply each year and can serve consecutive terms.
Austin is a high school sophomore, athlete, and military-connected teen who has previously lived overseas for a total of six years.
As an Honors student, Austin has consistently demonstrated his intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills. He has received numerous accolades, including the Superintendent's Honor Roll, Presidential Service Award, and Virginia High School League Academic Excellence Award.
Outside of the classroom, Austin is an accomplished competitive golfer, having earned a spot at the 2023 Under Armour Junior Tour National Championship and 2023 VHSL 6A State Championship, and is also a member of his school's Varsity Golf Team. He also serves on the WHRO Student Advisory Board and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
Hannah is a highly motivated high school junior and member of the prestigious IB program. An academic powerhouse, she not only excels in her studies but also passionately pursues extracurricular activities.
When she's not in the classroom, you can find Hannah on the tennis court, running trails as a member of the Varsity Cross Country team, volunteering in the community, or lending her musical talents to the orchestra. She is also a member of the National Honor Society.
With a keen interest in computer science and the fascinating world of artificial intelligence, Hannah is poised to make a significant impact in the tech industry. We are privileged to have her as a member of our advisory council.
Henry is a passionate middle school student with a strong focus on STEM and academic excellence. He's an honors student known for his dedication to learning and his deep interest in the world of science and technology.
As a committed member of a VEX robotics team, he enjoys working with cutting-edge technology, fostering his problem-solving skills and fostering his love for all things STEM.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Henry is an avid Minecraft enthusiast, a dedicated member of his middle school band, a chess and Rubix cube aficionado, and competitive golfer. His diverse interests and experiences allow him to bring a unique perspective to the Student Advisory Council.
Logan is an enthusiastic middle school homeschool student who is interested in a career in zoology or marine biology.
He is a PADI Advanced Open Water diver, which further fostered his love of the ocean, and a teen volunteer for both the Virginia Zoo and Virginia Aqaurium. He is also a recipient of the Presidential Service Award and Congressional Award (Bronze), having demonstrated a strong commitment to community service through his volunteer work both locally and overseas, and was honored as a 2024 semifinalist for the Military Child of the Year award.
Logan is also an active member of an eSports gaming team and a state championship-qualifying VEX robotics team, where he has developed his teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This form allows members to express their interests and preferences for career exploration, mentorship, job shadowing, field trips, and other opportunities.
